To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tommy Boy, we're throwing a weekend-long party in the city where it all began—Sandusky, Ohio, home of the fictional Callahan Auto Parts.

From August 7–9, 2025, downtown Sandusky will host outdoor movie screenings, live music, a classic car show, look-alike contests, a "Tommy Want Wingy Throwdown", a “sights not seen in the movie” scavenger hunt, and more. Director Peter Segal will be here in person, along with the actual car from the movie, for a special Q&A and photo op.

The weekend starts Thursday at the Jackson Street Pier with live music from The Menus and stand-up comedy from Kevin Farley, then keeps rolling with two full days of events throughout downtown. Whether you love the movie or just want to have a good time, there’s something for everyone.
